Information Offers International Office
Refugees who applied for a study program or have already registered with the university are provided with information at the International Office and are welcome to take advantage of the Office’s consulting services relating to different issues concerning their study stay at Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg.

Social Counseling Service
Martin-Luther-Universität strongly cooperates with the Social Counseling Service of the Student Administration regarding the consultation of students in study difficulties, personal, health or financial problems. The Student Administration can arrange appointments with psychosocial experts if required.

Support in Cases of Emergency
Concerning the provision of financial aids, the International Office, the registered association “Hilfe für ausländische Studierende e.V. (HauS)”, the Student Administration Halle and the Protestant Students Congregation ("Evangelische Studierendengemeinde - ESG") work closely together. Hence, all supporting possibilities for students needing financial aid in cases of emergency are taken into account. After verification of the student`s situation, the financial help is administered at short notice and unbureaucratically.
